Italy’s exports to Kuwait increased by 28.3 percent in the first quarter of 2002 compared to figures from the previous year, reported KUNA. Spare parts and machinery topped the list of merchandise imported, resulting €105 million ($96 million) worth of trade.
Italy’s exports to Kuwait accounted for 74 percent of the trade exchange the two states in 2001. In addition to spare parts and machinery, Kuwait imports electrical appliances, leather products, furniture and chemicals from the Mediterranean state. — (menareport.com)
