IT Association of Jordan elects new board of directors for 2002-2004

The General Assembly of the Information Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) gathered last week for the Association's Second Regular Meeting. The association's 2001 annual report, financial statement, audit and year 2002 budget were presented and approved. The Assembly also elected the Board of Directors that will serve between the years 2002-2004, stated a press release. 

 

The elections were closely monitored by a specially formed committee of int@j Members that were responsible for ensuring that the elections conformed to the association's articles of association.  

 

The new int@j Board comprises of Specialized Technical Services, Estara, General Computers & Electronics, FastLink, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co., Foursan Group, Future Applied Computer Technology, Batelco Jordan, United Business Machines, RUBICON, and the Community Development Group. Estara, Batelco Jordan, RUBICON, and Community Development Group have been re-elected to serve as Members of the Board for their second consecutive term.  

 

Int@j is a voluntary non-profit, private organization that aims to effectively represent, promote, and advance the Jordanian software and information technology (IT) services industry in the global market. It currently has 109 Members that represent local, regional and global ICT players. — (menareport.com)
