Dr. Mahmoud Shaker, the president of association of technical education, announced that many Iraqis are to participate in special courses in Cairo.
Dr. Mahmoud revealed, according to <i> Alfourat</i> newspaper, that such courses are funded by the German government. The courses aim to give Iraqis technical skills that the Iraqi labor market needs.
In another development, Dr. Mahmoud indicated that an Iraqi delegation from the association participated in a round table convention held recently in Paris, where the status of technical education in Iraq was presented. He disclosed that the delegation also signed an agreement to assist Iraq develop and modernize the technical education.
