The Iraqi education minister, Sámi Almodafer, said that the ministry issued orders to appoint 5188 new graduates of colleges and teachers. Almodafer revealed, according to Azzaman newspaper, that the new appointments were as follows: 2025 graduates in Alanbar, 1690 graduates in Dyali, Kirkuk and Rasafa.

He indicated that the ministry is examining the possibility to create new positions to appoint thousands of graduates whom did not get the chance to be employed. He promised that the ministry would continue in its efforts to assist the teachers, and have them be part of the education system in Iraq.
