The exchange rate of the Iraqi Dinar has strengthen in recent times compared to the Saudi Rial by no less than 11%. This development is a reflection of the strengthening of the Iraqi currency compared to the US Dollar, following the completion of the election process in Iraq.

Hence, reported Al Tahaddi newspaper, the optimistic expectations concerning the future of Iraq, in light of the elections' results, have changed the exchange rate of the two currencies from 1 million Iraqi Dinars to 3,000 Saudi Rial, to 1 million Iraqi Dinar against 2,700 Rial.
