The public company for grains has provided during the first half of this month flour to a number of families, who emigrated from Fallujah to Baghdad. A source at the company said that the operation of supplying the emigrants will continue as scheduled.
The source indicated, according to Alfourat newspaper, that the company took the necessary procedures to provide local flour agents in Baghdad province with a quantity of 621,487 bags. In another development, the company has taken some steps to transport the grains from its silos to distributors in order to prevent monopoly and price fixing by some merchants.
