The first workshop, which was organized by the Iraqi ministry of human rights in Irbil province has issued important recommendations that focus on the issue of handicapped people rights.
A source at the human rights ministry said that the final statement of the workshop included a number of recommendations with the main ones included the commitment to follow the international agreements, which are related to the rights of the handicapped, adjusting the Iraqi laws, and establishing a national organization or institution for the handicapped.
