Iran and Turkey recently inaugurated the largest joint gas project the two countries have ever collaborated on, reported Al-Bayan . The project, which was delayed twice in the past because of political disagreement, supplies Turkey with 228 billion cubic meters of gas until 2026. The Iranian and Turkish Ministers of Energy inaugurated this project near the Bazarjan area along common borders. This project, which is valued $20 billion, is the largest joint project between both states. Iran possesses the second largest gas reserves in the world, after Russia, estimated at 26 trillion cubic meters. — (menareport.com)
