ALBAWABA - Iran has just shown off two new defense systems called "Arman" and "Azerkheş." These systems help protect against missiles and low-flying threats like drones. They're really advanced and can be put on vehicles for easy moving around.

The Defense Minister, General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, talked about how important these systems are for keeping Iran safe. He said they can target multiple threats at once and react super fast.

These systems are part of Iran's ongoing effort to make sure its military has the best tools to defend the country. They're a big step forward in Iran's defense capabilities. And remember, this comes after Iran introduced its own hypersonic missile last year.

Arman anti-ballistic missile system can take on 12 targets at once from 120 to 180 kilometers away and up to 27 kilometers high. Meanwhile, the Azerkheş missile system can spot and destroy low-altitude targets within 50 kilometers using its four ready missiles.

At the event, Defense Minister Ashtiani mentioned that the Arman system can be ready to go in under 3 minutes, giving reliable protection for the country.

As for the overall defense efforts, Ashtiani stressed that they're always working on getting the right gear for Iran's armed forces. He explained how the Arman system can handle multiple targets and how the Azerkheş system protects key spots from drone attacks, thanks to its ability to work day and night and use advanced radar tech.
