The Iranian government has decided to reinstate entry visa requirements on citizens of the six states making up the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), starting Monday, January 21, after two years of implementing facilitated entry procedures into the country, reported the official IRNA news agency.
The regulations were reinstated on Saudi, Kuwaiti, Bahraini, Qatari, Omani and Emirati nationals as part of Iranian efforts to block the entrance of persons suspected of membership in the Al-Qaida or Taliban organizations under false identities. — (menareport.com)
