Iran: Region's biggest concentrated fruit juice production line opens

The biggest concentrated fruit juice production line in the Middle East has started operations in Iran. Speaking to IRNA, the managing director of the company, Ali Mohammadi, said the factory covers an area of more than 15,000 square meters.

 

This project was implemented at a cost of about 110 billion rials, it was reported. Mohammadi said that the factory has a production capacity of over 16,000 tons of fruit juices and 110,000 tons of other fruit concentrates per annum.

 

Mohammadi added that the factory is able to process over 15 tons of grape, 10 tons of apple, 10 tons of apricot and 7 tons of cherry obtained from local orchards per hour producing either concentrates or only fruit juice.

 

He said the company aims to export its products to European markets. It employs 100 people and another 2,000 people are also indirectly involved.
