A team of Dutch experts were expected to arrive in Iran in order to start feasibility studies on construction of world’s largest mushroom production and processing plant in a northern Iranian province.
According to MNA, the plant, which is to be set up by Sepidrud Co. in Gilan Province, will cover some 100 hectares of land. The Rls.200 billion project is predicted to produce some 12,000 tons of mushrooms annually. It will also create 300 jobs in the region.
