Some $82 million worth of Irani non-oil merchandise was exported to neighboring states in 2001, comprising mostly of agricultural products, building materials and construction equipment, reported Al-Wefaq.

Trade activity between Iran and Turkey reached $912.7 million in the first nine months of 2001, compared to $748.7 million during the same period of the previous year, recorded the Turkish State Statistics Organization. This implicates a 22 percent annual rise. — (menareport.com)
