Qasem Mirzaii, Iran’s trade advisor in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), said that the value of total trade between Tehran and Dubai amounted to Dh 22.4 billion ($6.1 billion) in fiscal year 2003/2004. The Iranian official added that this bilateral trade volume included $2.2 billion Iranian exports to Dubai. Thus, the bilateral trade balance is still in favor of Dubai, the official said, according to Khaleej Times.
