Iran’s OIEC to discusses oil cooperation with Tatarstan

(MEBG) – The chairman of the board of directors of Iran’s Oil Industries Engineering and Construction (OIEC) company has declared his country’s readiness to make joint investments in Tatarstan’s oil and gas sector. 

According to the July 11 edition of the Iran Daily,the OIEC official’s declaration came during a meeting with the prime minister of Tatarstan. Reportedly, the Iranians also offered technical assistance in tapping Tatarstan’s energy resources.  

The Tatar premier, voiced his country's willingness to cooperate with OIEC, stressing Tatarstan determination to develope its capacity for extracting and processing oil.
