ALBAWABA - Each year, whenever Apple releases a new series of its iPhone, smartphone experts, YouTubers, and companies rush to do experiments to figure out how strong are the external bodies of the new devices.
On Sept. 9, the American company unveiled its pack of iPhone 17, including iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air, the thinnest iPhone ever.
iPhone Air is under experimentation. Is it easily breakable?
Apple's iPhone Air, which weighs only 165 grams, is designed with a durable titanium frame that is highly bend-resistant despite being just 5.6 millimeters thick.
In bending tests conducted by Allstate Protection Plans, the iPhone Air performed very similarly to the iPhone 17 Pro. The device insurance company added that the thin iPhone was able to withstand a pressure of over 80 kilograms before bending, while the iPhone 17 Pro withstood a pressure of 90 kilograms.

On the other hand, the iPhone 17 Pro Max performed better than the iPhone Air and the iPhone 17 Pro, bending only at 100 kilograms.
According to Apple, the iPhone Air starts at $999 for 256GB storage, with 512GB and 1TB options available at higher prices of $1,199 and $1,399, respectively.
