The Jordanian Ministry of Commerce and Industry reported that the total funds invested in establishing new companies in Jordan increased by 45 percent, reaching 187.5 million Jordanian Dinars ($265 million) in the first 11 months of 2001 compared with JD 129.6 million in the corresponding period of the previous year, reported Al-Rai.
