Medical and security assistance response organization International SOS will provide support to its customers in the Middle East region through its recently established representative office in Bahrain.
The latest expansion of International SOS's worldwide operations will facilitate the provision of services to more than 100 existing – as well as new - clients in a territory spanning 19 countries in the Gulf, Middle East and North East African region, stated a press release. These currently include a full range of international patient care, global medical, emergency medical assistance, health care management and air rescue services.
Operating from nine regional centers and 50 offices worldwide, International SOS is a medical and security assistance company, as well as a provider of remote site medical services. It has a full time staff of 3,700 with more than 1,000 doctors and healthcare professionals operating in 29 alarm centers and 21 international clinics around the world. Its clients include the majority of Fortune 500 companies as well as leading insurance companies, credit card and speciality travel programs, universities, government agencies and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs).
International SOS will be exhibiting with the Association of British Health-Care Industries (ABHI) at the Arab Health Congress 2004 being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from January 18 to 24, 2004. — (menareport.com)
