Everyone's whole world revolves around social media these days, and documenting a day has become a trend for users. While Snapchat has its Story mode, Facebook decided to get something similar for Instagram.
As part of Facebook's mission to be the best social media site out there, the company has announced that Instagram is getting a Story feature which is similar to Snapchat's. This new Stories feature allows users to create a set of moments that will appear in a slideshow format, which can be viewed by followers for up to 24 hours. It will then disappear without sticking around in your profile. Seems familiar?
According to Instagram designers, this feature is to tackle concerns users have if they are overposting. Users will now be able to post multiple photos as a story, instead of spamming their followers with too many photos. Additionally you can also add text, stickers and drawings to your photos, which is again from Snapchat.
The Stories update launched today, and should be available with the latest version of Instagram.
