Middle East wireless information service provider Info2cell.com has tied up with Fastlink, Jordan’s telecommunications operator, to offer subscribers in Jordan a daily SMS based Football Trivia Game with attractive prizes, in addition to the daily World Cup 2002 SMS updates and live results.

Subscribers to Info2cell’s World Cup SMS alerts through Fastlink in Jordan will receive a daily trivia question on their mobile phones in the language of their choice. Answering the question will make them eligible to win daily cash prizes of 100 Jordanian Dinars and a grand prize of a brand-new BMW 318i. The service is available only to Fastlink customers.

Info2cell.com was established in 1998, providing wireless value added services. In the year 2000, Info2cell.com reengineered and redesigned its core business to become effectively the first Wireless Application Service Provider (W-ASP) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The content provision model was also revamped with the addition of many content providers and channels.

Info2cell.com’s tie-up with Acotel, the leading Italian wireless application service provider, has given it access to Europe’s leading Wireless Application Service Provider (WASP) technology. The company headquarters are located in the heart of the Middle-East technology hub at Dubai Internet City (DIC). The primary development center is in Amman Jordan, and editorial offices are located in Amman, Beirut, Cairo and Ramallah in Palestine. — (menareport.com)
