Software developer Indus International has signed a contract with Entreprise Nationale de Travaux aux Puits (ENTP), a drilling contractor in Algeria. ENTP is implementing Indus asset management and supply chain management solutions across its maintenance divisions to further streamline the company’s operational efficiency and achieve ISO registration.
The Indus solution will help ENTP to ensure their facilities and supply chain operations are run at peak operational efficiency, enabling them to be more competitive while meeting the demanding requirements of their Western customers.
ENTP began the installation of Indus asset management solutions in 2001. Based on this success, they are expanding the solution to include all of the 170 users in their maintenance divisions.
Established in 1981, ENTP is a drilling and work-over company, issued from the reorganization of the Algerian hydrocarbons sector. In 1989, ENTP became a share company and in 1996, it joined the Hydrocarbons Servicing Group (GSH), in which Sonatrach is the main shareholder, with 51 percent of shares. — (menareport.com)
