Imation, manufacturer of removable data storage products, has appointed Alvaro Valdez as its new regional manager for the Middle East, a position recently held by Peter Paul van Heesewijk, who has returned to Europe to overtake a European marketing function for professional storage products based at Imation Europe in Schiphol, The Netherlands.

“The Middle East is one of the major areas for growth, especially in the area of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and storage is an integral part of this growth pattern,” commented Valdez. The local office is also expanding its resource infrastructure to draw on international Imation resources to help its partners and customers add value.

In an effort to increase their presence in the enterprise market, Imation Middle East had appointed a corporate consultant, who has been working with medium to large corporate entities around the region to understand the individual needs of each customer and how Imation can better support them.

“Our emphasis will be on enabling our distribution partners to achieve an increased value through focused support programs, which will help them to assist their end users to obtain better value and return on investment (ROI) from their storage infrastructure using technology that is right for them,” continued Valdez.

Imation Corporation is a leading developer and manufacturer of removable data storage products sold in over 60 countries worldwide. Imation removable data storage offerings are a key ingredient in much of the world's technology infrastructure - from corporate data centres, to networks, to small businesses and home users. — (menareport.com)
