IFC to invest $177 million into Egyptian ventures

The World Bank affiliated International Finance Cooperation (IFC) recently agree to finance a number of investment projects in Egypt worth approximately $177 million in the sectors of energy and industry, reported Al-Alam Al-Yaum.  

 

IFC’s annual report stated that the corporation has committed to financing $4.74 million of the $14.5-million Ameriya Ingots project. The IFC has also agreed to allocate $96 million to the construction of two electricity stations to service the East Port Said and the Gulf of Suez. — (menareport.com)
