ICICI Infotech acquired Insyst Technologies (MEA) in September 2001. The last year has been a period of integration for Insyst Technologies and a process of strategic positioning for Orion, Premia, Merlin and Crossroads – Enterprise class Business Management Solutions - across ICICI Infotech’s operations globally.

Since the acquisition, there has been significant investment in product development to enhance their functionality and cater to the various needs of the global marketplace, to provide the competitive edge for rapid market penetration.

Today ICICI Infotech has consolidated its position in the Middle East, as a provider of Enterprise solutions encompassing a broad range of business segments covering ERP II for retail, distribution, manufacturing and contracting, end to end business solutions for Insurance companies and brokers as well as niche banking and IT infrastructure security solutions. This has been carried out by bringing together the business of Insyst Technologies (MEA) and Tricolour Infotech, to form ICICI Infotech Middle East and Africa.

ICICI Infotech, part of $20 billion ICICI group, is now fully focused on providing customized solutions across the globe, with services that enable customers to see a rapid return on their investments. These advanced solutions utilize in-house expertise and experience gained from working in different markets around the world and across a broad range of industry sectors.

ICICI Infotech has invested considerably in the Middle East and will continue to do so in line with its plans for the region. For example, the company has doubled its investment in product development.

ICICI Infotech has offices in Dubai Internet City, SAIF Zone and on-site support services across the Gulf region, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar in addition to Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Ghana in East Africa with a total installed base of more than 700 customers. — (menareport.com)
