Sakhr Software recorded a 50 percent growth in Ibsar sales for the second half of 2002 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Ibsar is a system that enables the blind to make full use of the computer and provides them with the capability to use the Internet through text to speech technology, which can read both Arabic and English text on web pages, and enables the blind to accomplish many tasks using the keyboard.

According to Sakhr's Sales and Marketing Manager in Dubai, Ziad Al-Rayyis, expectations for 2003 will greatly exceed this mark, as it is predicted that growth for the first half of the year will reach 450 percent, compared to the same period last year.
