ALBAWABA - A massive PS6 leak has revealed new details about Sony's upcoming console, including three different systems, among them a handheld console that could rival the Nintendo Switch 2, as it is reportedly shipping with a docked mode.

While the PS6 is yet to be confirmed by Sony, the company has already said that the most anticipated console is its top priority. Recent leaks from several reports on social media revealed new details regarding the PS6, including its specifications, pricing, and different versions.

First revealed by content creator Moore's Law Is Dead via a YouTube video, the PS6 will ship in three different variations: PS6S (Small factor console), a dockable handheld, and the base high-performance console, which will be the most expensive.

Both the PS6S and the handheld version will feature AMD's Canis APU. However, the leak revealed that the base PS6 will include an all-new Orion APU, a processor that could rival Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5080 and offer a boost in ray tracing performance.

X user "NIB" claimed that the upcoming base console's new ray tracing technology will be three times greater than the PS5.

NIB also revealed on X each console's approximate pricing:

  • PS6S ($299 to $399)
  • PS6 handheld ($399 to $499)
  • PS6 base version ($549 to $699)

For the handheld, Moore's Law Is Dead said during the video, "Multiple documents directly call out this thing can be docked, will be docked, like the Nintendo Switch 2."

He added that the portable PS6 might have a "1080p, 60, or 120 Hz screen" to run smoother while in handheld mode. However, the leaker outlined that the portable console will run on par or better than the PS5 when docked.

Moore's Law Is Dead previously leaked accurate specifications for the PS5 Pro before its announcement. View his video below:
