HP has reclaimed the leadership position in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) notebook PC market, according to a Canalys report released July 25, 2005.
HP recaptured the top spot in EMEA for notebooks with 16.4 percent market share. HP’s unit shipments for the notebook segment in EMEA grew at an impressive 55.5 percent year-over-year, 11.1 percent more than the industry growth rate, according to the analyst firm’s second quarter research.
“The market has confirmed HP as the EMEA mobile vendor of choice, and these results further reinforce our place in and commitment to the notebook business,” said Hazem M.
