Hewlett-Packard (HP)'s Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) Middle East reported a 14 percent sales increase of commercial products in the fourth quarter of 2002. An overall growth of 10 percent in the consumer and commercial divisions was also recorded in the region.
HP now holds a 75 percent market share on Middle East laser and inkjet printers, stated a press release. The region is now the number one contributor of revenues in the Easter Europe, Middle East and Africa Region (ISE).
Hewlett-Packard IPG represents a $20 billion business providing inkjet printers, laser printers, scanners, all-in-one devices and print servers. In addition, the business segment also has a strong market position in the digital camera industry. — (menareport.com)
