Arab Passports: From Strongest to Weakest

While the UAE passport ranks first regionally and among the 15 most powerful passports, none of the Arab passports are even among the top 30 passports according to the Henley Passport Index latest data.

In this article, we will list all the Arab passports and how they ranked regionally and internationally. 

1. UAE - International ranking: 15

   

   Today, the UAE passport is the most powerful passport among its Arab peers, and ranks 15^th globally. The UAE passport grants its holder to travel to 175 destinations without a visa or a visa on arrival. Only 52 countries require the UAE passport holders to apply for a visa.

2. Qatar - International ranking: 53

   

   While the Qatari passport ranks second among the Arab passports, it ranks 53^rd internationally. The Qatari passport grants its holder to travel to 97 destinations without a visa or a visa on arrival. 130 countries require the Qatari passport holders to apply for a visa. 

3. Kuwait - International ranking: 54

   

   The third on this list is the Kuwaiti passport that is considered the 54^th powerful passport internationally. The Kuwaiti passport grants its holder to travel to 95 destinations without a visa or a visa on arrival. 132 countries require the Kuwaiti passport holders to apply for a visa. 

4. Bahrain - International ranking: 62

   

   The fourth on this list is another GCC passport, the Bahraini passport. The Bahraini passport is considered the 62^nd powerful passport internationally. The Bahraini passport grants its holder to travel to 84 destinations without a visa or a visa on arrival. 143 countries require the Bahraini passport holders to apply for a visa.

6. KSA - International ranking: 65

7. Tunisia - International ranking: 72

8. Morocco - International ranking: 79

9. Mauritania - International ranking: 84
