Further consolidating its presence in the region, Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV, a leader in construction machinery industries, invested in a new comprehensive warehouse for machines, spares and training in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza). A well-attended inaugural ceremony was held at the new facility.
In the presence of His Excellency Hiroyasu Kobyashi, the Consul-General of Japan, the event was attended by Mr. Michijiro Kikawa, President and CEO of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co Ltd., Mr. Mitsuo Mori, President of Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al Janahi, Senior Vice-President Commercial Sales of Jafza along with top officials from Jafza and Hitachi’s dealers from the region.
Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al Janahi, Senior Vice-President, Commercial Sales, Jebel Ali Free Zone, commented: “We are proud to provide our customers with the most advanced infrastructure, especially international construction-machinery players such as Hitachi, and we will continue to fully support their growth”.

Mr Isshiki further said that Hitachi’s three (3) core objectives are to increase market-share in product-line, to provide the way of solution including prompt after-sale-service and maintenance, and to consolidate regional strength of sales, starting with the introduction of the most advanced and environmentally-friendly Excavator ZAXIS Dash 3 series.
For the first time in the Middle East, Hitachi, as a Japanese manufacturer of construction machinery, will present wider range of the state of the art machinery, along with own warehouse of spares and equipment, and training facility that will be readily available to fulfill the demand from local customers.
