Hilton HHonors, Hilton’s frequent guest program, was recently awarded the Hèrmes Award in Paris, which recognizes the initiative excellence in the Worldwide Hospitality Industry, for best Customer Loyalty Program.
The Hilton HHonors programme has been in operation since 1987 and now has over 10.5 million members worldwide and a total of 85,000 members in the Middle East. “Winning this prestigious International award… reflected in our high Middle East enrolment figures which have increased by 87 percent in the past year,” said Stuart Walsh, Hilton HHonors Marketing Communications Manager, Middle East.
With over 2,100 participating hotels and partnerships with international airline, car rental and cruise companies, Hilton HHonors guests are rewarded for their loyalty with gifts and advantages, including Double Dipping which allows members to earn both HHonors points and airline miles for the same stay, the only hotel chain in the world to offer this service, a Hilton press release said.
Hilton HHonors has four car rental partners, four cruise partners and over 55 partner airlines including, British Airways, Emirates Airline, Gulf Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines.
Hilton International currently operates 26 hotels in the Middle East—14 hotels in Egypt, eight hotels in the UAE, two in Saudi Arabia and one each in Bahrain and Oman. Hilton Hotels Corporation and Hilton International, a subsidiary of Hilton Group plc, have a worldwide alliance to market Hilton, collectively offering over 2,000 hotels in more than 50 countries. — (menareport.com)
