Hill International (Nasdaq:HINT), the worldwide construction consulting firm, announced today that it has received a contract from PROMAN Project Management to provide subconsultant project management services during the design and tendering of the OQYANA World First development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.  The contract, initially for a term of two years, has an estimated value to Hill of approximately $8.0 million.

OQYANA World First is the first marine community destination designed for “The World”, an artificial archipelago of more than 300 islands in the Arabian Gulf off the coast of Dubai.  OQYANA World First comprises 20 reclaimed man-made islands.  It is the most luxurious community, lying closest to the mainland with the best views of Dubai.  OQYANA World First will provide a chic ocean lifestyle through a mixture of sea-view luxury apartments with panoramic ocean and harbor vistas, secluded water homes linked to islands via water bridges, exquisite canal homes and beachfront villas and mansions.

“We are very excited to be part of this hallmark project,” said Raouf S. Ghali, President of Hill’s Project Management Group (International).  “OQYANA is a tremendous milestone for The World project,” Ghali added.

Hill International, with 1,500 employees in 70 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management, and construction claims services.  Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 10th largest construction management firm in the United States.
