The Hasan Juma Backer Trading & Contracting Company will provide the Omani Ministry of Housing, Electricity & Water with a permanent piped supply of potable water to the Bawsher area in the Muscat governorate, reported Oman Times.
The two million Omani Rial ($5.19 million) project will construct a 6.35-kilometer ductile iron transmission pipeline and an asbestos cement distribution pipeline with valve chambers, hydrants and anchor blocks. In addition, an 8000 cubic meter reinforced concrete service reservoir at the Bawsher pumping station and a booster pump station in Bawsher heights will also be built.
Established in 1975, the Hasan Juma Backer Trading & Contracting Company has recently completed the Muscat Water Network Rehabilitation project. The firm provided Civil & Electro-Mechanical Construction Services to a wide spectrum of clients including Diwan of the Royal Court, Ministries, Royal Oman Police and establishments in the public & private sectors. — (menareport.com)
