Hamriyah Free Zone (HFZ) is planning a major expansion that will see the facility almost doubling in size with the addition of 10 million square metres of land allocated to the free zone recently.

"We currently have 12 million square metres of land, fully occupied by 1,100 companies and industries from 87 countries," said Dr. Rashid Al Leem, director-general of Hamriyah Free Zone, according to Gulf News.
