Gulf Indonesia Resources Ltd. announced the results of the initial test of the Bukit Tua-1 oil discovery in the Ketapang Production Sharing Contract (PSC) area, located offshore East Java.
A test of a cased interval between 6,466 and 6,488 feet flowed at a stabilized rate of approximately 2,800 barrels of oil per day through a 1-inch choke.
Further testing on the well is currently underway.
