Gulf Beauty 2000 will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 25 to 27 and is expected to attract over 200 companies from 25 countries worldwide. The event will mark the 5th international trade fair for perfumes, cosmetics and body care products.
The participating nations in this international beauty product show will include: France, Germany, Italy, the UK, China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the US etc.
A large number of exhibitors from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Cyprus, Singapore, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Malta, Poland, Turkey and Canada are also expected to be on-hand to represent their respective nations at the exhibit.
Statistics indicate that there is a growth of regional markets' demand for beauty products and services, driven by the increase in the number of people living and working in the region. Gulf countries import nearly $1.5 billion worth of beauty products per year, including approximately $500 million, a Dubai World Trade Centre release disclosed. The bulk of these imports are re-exported to neighboring countries, the Indian subcontinent, Iran and the CIS nations. The UAE has established itself as the regional hub for cosmetics, perfume and skin care products sellers and manufacturers.
Gulf Beauty 2000 will feature a wide variety of products, including perfumes, cosmetics, skin care products, hair and body lotions, made of pure natural oils and extracts. Health club, spa and beauty salon equipment and services will also be highlighted.
