Gulf Air’s Golden Falcon logo was unveiled April 22 as part of the airline’s new corporate identity. The new neon landmark is perched atop the Falcon Tower in Manama’s Diplomatic Area. Gulf Air’s new corporate identity will be progressively rolled out over the next 18 months.

“As the largest neon sign in Bahrain at 11 meters tall and 14 meters wide, it commands a powerful presence to display the airline’s new corporate identity, which boldly and contemporarily reflects Gulf Air’s Arabian values and tradition of hospitality,” said James Hogan, president and chief executive, Gulf Air.

Gulf Air was founded in 1950. Today, it is owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The airline’s network stretches from Europe to Asia and covers 43 cities in 32 countries. The fleet is one of the most modern in the Middle East and comprises 30 aircraft. The airline is in its first year of a three-year strategic recovery program. — (menareport.com)
