Bosch, one of the world's top three domestic appliances companies, today announced commencement of its operations in the Sultanate of Oman.
Oman Trading Enterprises (OTE), part of the Suhail Bahwan Group, will be the sole retailers for the high quality domestic appliance ranges throughout the Sultanate as a result of interest in the products from distributors.
OTE is a market leader in premium electronics and home appliances products in Oman, and is now enriching its portfolio of brands with its launch of Europe's number one brand – Bosch.
Bosch's Middle East headquarters has been based in Dubai for ten years and has established a strong presence and reputation in the region due to its high performing and reliable products.
Oman's consumers will now be able to choose from Bosch's collection of innovative and environmentally friendly products, including washing machines, refrigerators, ovens and dishwashers.
Ralph Kobsik, Bosch's Marketing Director for the Middle East, said: "We are convinced of Oman's concrete growth potential in the domestic appliances market. Our partnership with OTE will be the perfect combination and the competence of Bosch in the home appliances will marry well with the vast experience and reach of OTE in Oman."
OTE services a network of 125 dealers across Oman, including leading 'power retailers' such as Carrefour, Sultan Centre and Lulu. There are also five in-house OTE showrooms located across the Sultanate.
The Middle East is the fastest growing region in the worldwide Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte network. Employing 35 within its Dubai office and 15 more throughout the Middle East region, BSH is one of the few international domestic appliances manufacturers to have its regional headquarters in the Middle East.
