Algeria's truck manufacturing company, Veicoli industriali Renault (SNVI), has recently entered into a production agreement with ZF Friedrichshafen, a German automotive supplier group, providing for the joint manufacturing of parts for the industrial vehicles aftermarket.
The state-owned company is reportedly also negotiating with the French Renault and Germany's MAN, seeking to forge a joint assembly line for industrial vehicles, reported the North Africa Journal. SNVI is a public company, whose automobile assembly plant is located in Rouiba. SNVI has been slated for privatization by the Algerian government. — (menareport.com)
