The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) reported that the volume of trade between the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council's member states and Japan grew to Dh 325 billion ($88.54 billion) in 2005, up from Dh 233.6 billion ($63.6 billion) in the previous year, an impressive 39% rise.
According to Al-Khaleej newspaper, the JETRO reported that the volume of the GCC states' exports to Japan grew to Dh 277 billion ($75.5 billion) last year, up from Dh 192 billion ($52.6 billion) in the previous year, a 44% increase.
