Protective coating supplier, Garneau was awarded a large coating equipment contract in the Middle East. The total value of the contract is approximately five million Canadian dollars ($3.2 million). The company has not disclosed the name or the location of the company it has been commissioned to develop.
Garneau's equipment for the Three Layer Polyethylene Coating Plant will be shipped early second quarter 2003, and expected to be operational in the third quarter. The contract is with a leading manufacturer of spiral steel pipe for gas, oil, and water, and has been in the industry for over 30 years.
Canadian Garneau's primary business is the application of performance protective coatings and linings for oil and gas pipeline protection and additionally, designs and fabricates oilfield equipment for both domestic and international markets. — (menareport.com)
