GAC Logistics honors long-standing customers

GAC Logistics has honored its five longest standing customers with an award of appreciation. This is part of the yearlong celebrations marking its flagship Distribution Center’s first 10 years in operation. 3M, Johnson & Johnson, Gillette, Nestlé, and On-Line Distribution were the first customers to call on GAC’s logistics expertise when the Distribution Center in Dubai opened in 1993.  

 

“We believe that building strong relationships with our customers is key to our continued success,” said Dag Bore, General Manager, GAC Logistics, Dubai. “As a result, we have gained their long-term support which has enabled us to rise to where we are today.”  

 

Started out as a 8,000m2 storage space, the facility has expanded six-fold. Today, the 50,000m2 Centre is known as the biggest and most advanced third party warehouse facility in the Middle East.  

 

GAC Logistics has been the exclusive provider of logistics service to these five companies for the last 10 years. The services have included supply chain management solutions aimed at reducing costs, improving customer service, reducing inventory and facility investments, and shortening time-to-market product cycles. — (menareport.com)
