Stuart Bowie has been appointed Regional Manager, GAC Logistics Services, handling the development of logistics services in the Middle East region. Dag Bore has been appointed General Manager, GAC Logistics Services, responsible for the Freight Services and Distribution Services Departments.
Bowie will be based in GAC Dubai's Distribution Center, Jebel Ali, reporting to the Regional Director, Middle East. He will implement and monitor sales programs throughout the Middle East while assisting the global team with freight negotiations and direct carrier utilization. He will be responsible for the development of regional and global customers and project business, while monitoring the implementation of group strategies and policies related to logistics. He will also monitor the standards of freight forwarding services provided within the Middle East.
Bore has managed the GAC Distribution Center for several years and also has extensive knowledge of all the services and activities within the Freight Services Department. In his new position he will relocate to GAC's Head Office in Dubai Drydocks Estate. As a result of this change GAC has integrated its freight and distribution services in order to provide a full range of logistics services to customers from one point of contact. — (menareport.com)
