French metal company enters Tunisia

“Oxymetal”, a leading French metal company, has recently formed a strategic alliance with Tunisia 's number one private industrial group “Poulina.” According to TunisiaOnline, the new deal will lead to the establishment of a new industrial conglomerate called “Metal Gan”.

 

Based on the agreement, “Metal Gan” is to take over the assets of a Tunisian industrial metal factory, located near Tunis and covering some 13,000 square meters. 51% of the capital of this new conglomerate will be held by “Oxymetal”, while “Poulina” will control 49% of it.

 

Oxymetal is a France-based company that specializes in the cutting of metals for use in all sectors of industry. As of 2006, Oxymetal's turnover amounted to over €80 million. The French producer boasts more than 4000 clients worldwide and 650 employees.
