Fransabank, one of Lebanon's major banks, has selected France’s Alcatel and its OmniTouch call center to set up one of the very first customer contact centers in Lebanon.

This system, based on the Alcatel OmniPCX 4400 architecture and the Alcatel OmniTouch suite, allows customers to obtain, at any time, information about the state of their accounts and to carry out the full range of transactions, such as monitoring outstanding credit card items, ordering checkbooks, notifying loss or theft of checkbooks and setting up transfers.

Alcatel's vocal interactive CCivr server gives access to recent information on products and services, such as rates of exchange and the latest financial offers and insurance products with the opportunity to carry out simulations.

Established in 1921 and based in Beirut, Fransabank is one of the oldest banking institutions active in Lebanon. With its national network of 48 branches, Fransabank is an all-purpose bank, providing financial commercial, retail, investment and private banking services. — (menareport.com)
