ALBAWABA - France is the talk of social media for something other than the 2024 Paris Olympics. French authorities recently announced facing a fiber optic network 'sabotage' in several parts of the country, targeting mainly communication networks.
The three-day network sabotage in question has caused quite several issues including disruption in train services and communication networks, according to AFP.

Local police speculate that the individuals responsible for the attack are far-left extremists. According to Insider Paper, six areas of France were 'sabotaged' but Paris was not affected by it.
Some users on X (formerly known as Twitter) are speculating that Russian hackers are behind the attack, but nothing has been confirmed by local French authorities by the time of writing this article.
