Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al-Mutaiwee stated that four Spanish commercial delegations will visit Dubai next month. The Dubai Chamber will organize meetings for them with their counterparts from the Dubai businessmen.
The first of these delegations will be organized by the Sidad Riyal Chamber of Commerce, and will include representatives of seven producers of sanitary equipment, tools, leather goods and construction equipment. Their visit will be from June 9-12.
The second delegation will be organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Bilad Al-Walid, and it will include representatives of eight establishments producing lighting equipment, women’s fashion, sweets, pharmaceutical equipment, marble, jewelry, and foodstuff. The visit will start from June 14 and will last for three days.
The third Spanish delegation will visit Dubai on June 13 for three days, and will be organized by the Machinery and Carpentry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association. It includes five representatives of companies specializing in machinery, carpentry equipment, dyes, and glue.
The fourth delegation includes representatives of six organizations producing and exporting foodstuff, car parts, sanitary and hotel equipment Barcelona College of Commercial agents will organize this delegation whose visit will be from June 22-24.
The volume of trade between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Spain through Dubai is around one billion Emirati dirhams a year ($272 million), 900 million of which is acquired through imports from Spain. — (menareport.com)
