The value of trade in Jordan conducted by non-Jordanians on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) decreased to 103.6 million Jordanian dinars during the first 11 months of 2001, reported Al-Ddustour .
The ASE authority reported that non-Jordanian investors purchased JD 98.4 million worth of stocks on the local securities market in this past year beginning in November. This volume of trade constituted 16.2 percent of the total exchanges on the Amman Stock Exchange during the same period.
The value of the total stocks sold by non-Jordanian investors hit JD 202 million during the same period. — (menareport.com)
