Foreign investors purchase AED 1.066 billion worth of shares on DFM during last week

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares and bonds bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (September 9 - September 13) reached AED 1.066 billion comprising 24.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. 

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 968 million comprising 22.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 98 million  during the same period.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 1.168 billion comprising 27.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 799 million which constitutes 18.6 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 369 million during the period.
