Ford Middle East and North Africa (MENA) cut the ribbon on its latest C/D segment vehicle in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Gulf. The all-new 2003 Ford Mondeo made its Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) debut at a VIP event in Dubai attended by senior management from Ford and its dealers across the region.

The Mondeo nameplate has sold more than 2.5 million units in 60 countries since its introduction in 1993, and won no fewer than 17 industry awards, including European Car Of The Year 1994 and Britain's Best Fleet Car in May.

The new Mondeo is available in the UAE and the Gulf in two models: the entry-level Ambiente and the luxury Ghia edition. Distributed exclusively in the UAE by Omeir Bin Youssef & Sons in Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain, and Al-Tayer Motors in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. — (menareport.com)
